The Youth Orchestra of the Low Country has a very busy spring, with 2 concerts set for the final months of the school year.

April 6 is a combined concert featuring the Youth Orchestra of the Low Country and the College of Charleston Wind Ensemble. This event will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, April 6, at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 405 King Street.  Selections include Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony, Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Greensleeves, and Richard Strauss’ thrilling Feierlicher Einzug for brass, organ, and percussion.  Guest artists include John Freeman, trumpet; Kathleen Wilson, harp; and Porter Remington, organ.
