Youth Orchestra of the Lowcountry

A Collaboration Between the College of Charleston and the Charleston Symphony Orchestra with Support from the Charleston County School District  

Members must have permission from their school’s band, orchestra teacher, or private instructor in order to participate.  If a member’s school does not have a band or orchestra program, please check the appropriate box on the application.

Participation fees are $200 per season and may be paid with cash, money order, or personal check made out to Charleston Symphony Orchestra Youth Fund (Mail to: CSO Youth Fund, 145 King Street, Suite 311, Charleston, SC 29401). 

A limited number of scholarships are available based on family need.  Please contact us to find out more.  The fee is used to help cover direct costs of running the orchestra including venue fees, marketing materials, and administration.
